Santa Cruz al Salvador is celebrating thirty years of accompaniment with communities in rural El Salvador with a special event at the Watsonville Public House on Saturday September 21 from 2-4 pm. The Watsonville Public House is a nonprofit, community brewery and an outreach of the Presbyterian Church that is run by minister/brewmaster, Robby Olson. It is also dog friendly!
The January, 2016 delegation consisted of 11 people from six congregations, with co-leaders Lucas Grams from Lutheran Community and Pr. Karla Norton from St. Andrew Presbyterian.
Following monthly Getting Ready meetings and fundraisers since January 2013, 16 youth and 13 adults left on Friday, June 28, for the first two-week delegation hosted by Santa Cruz al Salvador specifically organized for youth.
